About Lake Sybelia Elementary School

Established in 1967, Lake Sybelia Elementary School has proudly served the Maitland community for decades. As a cornerstone of the area, the school is home to the Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) Hearing Impaired Program, providing specialized instruction and support for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students from age 3 through 5th grade.

This exceptional program, combined with the rich cultural and ethnic diversity of the student body, creates a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. Lake Sybelia is a place where students from all backgrounds come together to learn, grow, and thrive.
